The George is a wonderful hotel from where to explore Christchurch. Truly a luxury hotel where you will feel pampered. Food in the bar was wonderful. Located across the street from Hayley Park the location is perfect.

"First-class dinner."

The George is a beautiful establishment. Parking right out the front, staff very kind and welcoming, a incredibly comfortable room, welcome drinks, a gorgeous little teddy bear and chocolates left in the room, a really first-class dinner. My husband used the new gym as well and really appreciated that. I am grateful for the free guest laundry (they supply laundry powder). Just a really lovely experience across the road from one of the most beautiful parks we have ever walked through.

"Loved the artwork throughout"

Lovely location across from Hagley Park and walking distance to dining and shops. Loved the artwork throughout and greenery surrounding the property. Excellent friendly service too!
