To cancel accommodation, kindly notify us via email or in writing by 6:00 pm, two days before your scheduled arrival date.

Cancellations due to Covid-19
If you have booked directly with the hotel and need to cancel due to a change in New Zealand Alert Levels related to COVID-19, there will not be a cancellation fee.
If your booking was made through an Online Travel Agent, please reach out to them directly for assistance. Phone 0800 100 220

No show charges
Regular cancellation policies will be in effect. To avoid charges, please contact the hotel directly to modify or cancel your booking.
In case of a “no-show” or late cancellation, a charge equivalent to one night’s tariff will apply.

Third-Party bookings / Online travel agents
If you have made your reservation through a travel agent, online booking platform, or other third party, please contact your booking provider directly for assistance.

We are more than happy to store luggage should you arrive prior to or depart after these times.

The George is a non-smoking hotel, please ask our team where the hotel’s designated smoking areas are should you want to smoke.

When settling your account on departure and paying by credit card a 2.5% credit card surcharge will apply.
